Inspired by vintage styling of the 1950’s, the Aviator Twill Jacket is a carefully crafted limited edition workwear derived piece that doesn’t fall short on details. Based on the iconic Eisenhower jacket of the WWII era, the General himself had a fond appreciation for the neat appearance of the waist length for American soldiers. Dickies adapted this style for work uniforms that have since been widely used in American industry. This iteration of the Eisenhower is the most precise replica of the original version which includes the signature patch pockets and a wider waistband that was indicative of the period. Fabricated from a 100% Cotton Twill, this is a great lightweight layering option that can be worn from season to season. Both the sleeve cuffs and waistband are adjustable to secure the perfect fit. Vintage details are found in the metal cloverleaf buttons that are exact replicas of the oldest buttons in Dickies archives, ensuring the authenticity of the unparalleled and timeless design.
