13” Wild Plum Wand
(Reasonably Pliant)
This wand is fashioned from Wild Plum timber and has a simple natural profile, with a few small knots. This one features a live-edge grip, naturally darkened by the tannins in the cambium layer; from seasoning with the bark on. A knot forms a subtle hilt, which leads to a carefully tapered, long slender beam. The transition from hilt to beam shows a bit of chatoyance, and glints in the light.
An elegant wand, with a bit of natural character.
Finish is lacquer.
