18” Supreme Elm Wand, Ebonized

This wand is hand-hewn from a seasoned stave of TX Elm timber, and has an ebonized finish.
This one features a tapered palm-swell style grip with a ring pommel, and a streamlined swell at the hilt. The extra-long beam is slender and has a slow continuous taper to the tip.
This wand has been ebonized, transforming the white wood to shades of gray with a smoky beige in the background. The process darkens the otherwise invisible grain lines of Elm, revealing beautiful complex patterns.
The wand has also been burnished to further toughen and polish the surface.
Finish is lacquer.
A strong wand with lovely grain, that’s well balanced and comfortable in the hand.
