A large French antique gilded wood altar crucifix featuring a trefoil cross finials, decorative rectangular baroque base and a wonderfully carved Corpus Christi (Body of Christ) statue. It dates back to the mid to late 1700s.

General: The overall dimensions of of the cross are 30.3 inches (77 cm) high and 10.6 inches (27 cm) wide. The overall dimensions of the Corpus Christi are a height of 12.6 inches (32 cm), a height from the toes to the head of 10.6 inches (41 cm) and a width of 8.1 inches (20.5 cm).

Condition: The crucifix is in good condition with no damage besides age-related wear. Please see the enclosed images.

I have sold and successfully posted hundreds of fragile items around the world. If needed, I pack my items securely using plenty of bubble wrap, polystyrene chips, and double-boxing. I always mark the box with FRAGILE tape and FRAGILE, GLASS and THIS WAY UP signs as much as possible.

The postage charge to the UK excludes the Channel Islands, Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scilly Isles, Scottish Highlands, Scottish Islands, and Northern Ireland—please ask for the postage cost to these destinations before buying. The postage charge to the EU / Europe excludes Malta—please ask for the postage cost before purchasing.
