Elephant Kuripe – Tobacco Snuff Pipe – Handcarved Buffalo Bone
This elephant head kuripe is handcarved of white buffalo bone with inlaid black buffalo horn eyes. Carved by a traditional Indonesian bone carver. It is carved in the South American tobacco snuff pipe style, called a kuripe. These are used to self administer tobacco and other snuffs used in shamanic ceremonies.
I commission these pieces to be made for ceremonial use. All material is sustainable. Great care and respect is shown in the creation of each kuripe. Please message me for more details.
Materials: Buffalo bone, buffalo horn, epoxy

This piece is filled with beauty and care. Recycled water buffalo bone crafted into a delicate hummingbird kuripè is a wonderful reminder to stay grounded and embrace my spirituality. I’m blessed to have found this piece and have it as part of my practice. Trevor was able to message me about its origins and spiritual significance. Thank you much love!
