You can commission a red deer drum to be made especially for you. This drum has a night-sky blue coloured ring and a lapis lazuli crystal set in the handle, which brings with it the energy of inner vision.

Please be aware that every drum is unique and the patterning of both the reindeer hide and the crystal will differ slightly from the photographs.

Choose from three different sizes: 14 inch, 16 inch and 18 inch. Your drum will come with a suede beater.

The energy of Lapis Lazuli

Timescales from the point of your order

Please allow between 2-3 weeks for us to make your drum for you. Sometimes we are able to dispatch sooner and so if you have a particular date in mind to receive your drum please let us know.

Customs fees

If you’re ordering from outside the UK (including the US and EU), please be aware that your country may charge import taxes or customs fees when your parcel arrives. These are set locally and are the responsibility of the buyer.

– If your order is over 150 euros you will be asked to pay this via the courier once we have dispatched your parcel.

Guidance for choosing your drum

The 14″ drums are the most portable and tend to have a higher pitch than the larger ones. Our 16″ is often seen as a great compromise between transportability and depth of voice. The larger 18″ drum is a little heavier but usually has a deeper voice. However, each drum is very much an individual and can vary from what is expected.

Your suede drum beater is included within the price of the commissioned drum. If you would like a felt drum beater this must be added to your order as a separate item.

About the making of this drum

We make our drums from our home in the Silverdale and Arnside Area of Natural Beauty on the Lancashire coast, northwest England. We create the drums in sacred space and awakening them in ceremony over incense.

We also take great care in the sourcing of our materials. The Red Deer hide used to make this drum is from Scotland and the timber for the Ash hoop is sourced from UK ash and is crafted by a local carpenter in Wigan. The wood has a layer of beeswax to bring out its natural grain. The wax is from bees which have been rescued.
