This hand carved Chumpi Stone has 13 points in reference to the occurrence of 13 full moons in a solar year. The stone is an homage to the Inca moon goddess, Mama Quilla, wife of the sun god Inti.
The piece has the names of sacred Apus etched into the stone:

The bottom of the piece features a kintu carving with three coca leaves.
