MANUFACTURING
These rapé applicators are handcrafted in Brazil by a small independent craftsman, Fernando. The latter is an Argentinian expatriate in Brazil for over 30 years who works exclusively with vegan materials, he never uses feathers or bones in his creations. He specializes in ritual objects, particularly related to the use of rapé and particularly dominates the art of working bamboo.
USE
Tepis are used to apply rapé to someone other than oneself, particularly during Ayahuasca or Kambo ceremonies. To do this, simply introduce the rapé powder into one of the tips of the tepis, insert this same tip into the nostril of the person who wishes to receive the breath then blow into the other tip. Be sure to apply the rapé in both nostrils to maintain the balance of the energetic body.
DIMENSIONS
Applicator length: between 32 and 37 centimeters depending on the model. As all models are handmade, they may have minor variations. The tips are also slightly different. So, if you want a wider or thinner tip, do not hesitate to send me a message so that I can recommend the most suitable model.
MATERIALS
No animal products are used in the production of this item.
Materials used: bamboo, macramé thread, crystals, semi-precious stones.
GRATED
Also known as Hape, Rapeh, Rapé is a sacred legal shamanic medicine. South American shamans have used it as medicine for centuries. Its main ingredient is a special type of tobacco. The indigenous people who make rapé mix this tobacco with various medicinal plants, such as mint, pau pereira, cumaru, mulateiro, etc.
SENDING
Shipments are made from the Paris region, maximum 7 days after your order. As tepis are fragile objects, they are sent in bubble wrap or another material to protect them.
